The Financial Freedom Tour continues. 13-15 May 2024
Bitfinex Financial Freedom Tour is an educational tour aiming to spread financial freedom and the Bitcoin ethos to people in Turkiye. It covers 21 cities and is embarked with the Bitfinex caravan.
Our route will also include the most important points of the ancient Silk Road and will encompass the most significant developments related to the history of money and trade.
During our tour, which will last for 7 months, Derya Türker and Kripto Levent will visit the 7 regions of the country, both introducing people to Bitcoin and meeting with local crypto enthusiasts.
The Final destination of Bitfinex Financial Freedom tour is Istanbul.

Our tour in South East Türkiye:
During the Aegean Region tour held between February 19th and 21st, visits were made
to Bodrum, Aydin, and Izmir where conferences were organized. At the events, Derya
Turker, CEO of The Steve Group, and Levent Olgu (known as KriptoLevent)
participated as speakers. Within the scope of the tour, aiming to increase knowledge
about Bitcoin as well as to explore the cultural and touristic richness of the visited cities,
points such as the Bodrum Windmills and the ancient city of Ephesus were visited in the
Aegean Region.
The first stop visited in the Aegean Region was Bodrum. Among the participants of the
tour, which received great interest in Bodrum, was the Mugla Blockchain community. On
the second day, meetings were held in Aydin and on the last day, they took place in
Izmir. The Bitfinex Financial Freedom, which hosted many participants at Ege
University, received significant interest from students. Among the participants were
students from various universities including Ege University, Izmir University of
Economics, Dokuz Eylul University, and Izmir Katip Celebi University. At the event held
at Ege University, independent Bitcoin journalist Joe Nakamoto also took the stage as a
speaker. The journalist who also introduced 4 participants to the Lightning Network
technology, gave away some Bitcoin as well.

At every city visited on the tour, various meetups will be organized, and gifts, training, and numerous opportunities will await attendees.
